Series Processing Inventories

The Series Processing Inventories are viewable and downloadable Google spreadsheets. The spreadsheets list individual report titles that have been processed by TRAIL for digitization.  A link is provided to the digital copy if available.

Note: A digitized report may not be viewable for many reasons due to the original item format, the time it takes to process/ship/digitize, and to copyright issues that preclude public access of the image.

The U.S. Coast Guard began as the U.S. Cutter Revenue Service in 1790 and was under the Treasury Dept. until 1966 when it was transferred to the Dept. of Transportation.  When the Department of Homeland Security was created in 2002 it was one of 22 agencies to be incorporated.  In times of war it can operate as part of the U.S. Navy.
